Our Quality Control (QC) department is staffed by NETTCP certified technicians.
QC is responsible for sampling and testing aggregate and asphalt products in accordance with federal, state and customer specifications. The lab and field technicians play critical roles in making certain our products at our aggregate crushing and hot mix asphalt facilities achieve the high quality our customers expect.
Our QC department also focuses on new asphalt mix designs and how each design will be prepared to meet the needs of our clients. Their professional approach to their work guarantees that our products will meet or exceed federal and state specifications.
Our QC department works closely with the DOT’s in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont as well as technical industry groups to develop innovations in the asphalt industry which are environmentally friendly, cost effective, and extend the life cycle of our products.
Participants in NAPA’s Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) program to quantify the environmental impacts of HMA. We currently have 70 published at 5 locations across Maine, NH, and VT.
Our Central Lab in Belmont, NH is both an AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) and Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) accredited laboratory.
NETTCP certified technicians are available to provide customers with HMA sampling, testing, and inspection of field placed materials.
