Pike Industries, Inc. believes that good health improves the quality of employees’ personal and professional lives, which is why the company encourages all employees to pursue a healthy lifestyle.
Pike Industries offers employees health and wellness programs including annual Health Risk Assessments, Biometric Screenings and a Wellness Reimbursement Program to help employees achieve their personal wellness goals.
Health Risk Assessments
On an annual basis employees can complete a personal Health Risk Assessment questionnaire. By completing a series of multiple choice questions about their lifestyle, hereditary health risk factors and past health concerns, employees can start to make lifestyle changes to decrease potential risks before they become realities.
These confidential, annual screenings include recording the employee’s height, weight, waist circumference, BMI (Body Mass Index), blood pressure, fasting glucose, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. Based on these results employees can evaluate their personal health status and address any potential risks.
Wellness Reimbursement Program
Pike Industries will reimburse employees for health club memberships, weight loss programs, and other approved fitness programs.
All seasonal and year round Pike Industries employees are eligible to participate in the Wellness Reimbursement Program.
The Pike Industries Wellness Committee is made up of employees across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont who help promote the Wellness initiatives throughout the company. Their goal is to design healthy practices in the work place, provide support, and offer resources to employees who are making healthy lifestyle choices.
